This is a mojo-inspired marinade I threw together for tuna steaks. It turned out nicely, and I placed the fish over a fresh salad. A healthy, refreshing, and light dinner.
Place fish steaks in a large ziplock bag. Mince finely or process the onion and garlic. Add to the bag and season with all the other ingredients – use enough to coat the fish on both sides in the bag. You can also marinate in a dish if you prefer. Either way, marinate in fridge for 15 minutes, turn, and marinate for another 15 minutes. Then cook on the grill or sear in a large pan until cooked to your liking. I suggest cooking through for a normal tuna fillet – if you buy sushi-grade cuts, you can sear to a medium rare however.
